01Acceptance of These Terms
Editvox Studio (“Editvox”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) provides remote post-production and content editing services. These Terms and Conditions apply to our website and to every project we take on.
If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our website or request our services. We may update these terms from time to time, and the version published on this page applies to new projects from its effective date.
02The Services We Provide
Editvox is an online editing studio. We work with video, audio, podcasts, webinars, interviews, course lessons, screen recordings, and similar source material, and we deliver edited, cleaned, formatted, and export-ready files.
Work is carried out remotely. We do not provide live event production, equipment rental, or in-person filming.
03Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement to use our services. If you use our services on behalf of a company or other organization, you confirm that you have the authority to do so.
04Quotes and Starting a Project
Pricing shown on our website is indicative and depends on the length, complexity, number of deliverables, and turnaround of each project. Quotes are estimates until confirmed.
A project is confirmed once scope and pricing are agreed in writing and any required deposit is received.
05Your Responsibilities
To deliver good results, we rely on you to:
- Provide source files, references, and a clear brief.
- Ensure you own or have permission to use all material you send.
- Respond to questions and review requests within a reasonable time.
- Keep your own backups of original files.
- Provide accurate contact and billing information.
Delays in providing material or feedback may affect agreed turnaround times.
06Source Material and Rights
You are responsible for the content you send us. By submitting material, you confirm that you hold the necessary rights, licenses, and permissions for it, including any music, footage, images, or third-party content it contains.
We rely on this confirmation and are not responsible for verifying ownership of client-supplied material.
07Project Scope and Revisions
Each project has a defined scope and an agreed number of revision rounds. Revisions within that scope are included.
Requests that go beyond the agreed scope, such as additional deliverables, new direction, or substantial re-editing, are quoted separately.
08Turnaround Times
We provide estimated turnaround times based on the project and our current schedule. Estimates are not fixed deadlines unless we agree a specific delivery date in writing.
Turnaround depends on the timely delivery of source material and feedback.
09Fees and Payment
Fees, deposits, and payment schedules are agreed before work begins. Payments are processed through third-party payment providers, and we do not store full card details.
Unless agreed otherwise, finished work is delivered after the applicable payments are received.
10Delivery of Work
Finished files are delivered digitally, usually through download or file-sharing links. You are responsible for downloading and storing your final files.
We may remove working files and delivered files from active storage after the delivery period.
11Acceptable Use
You may not use our services to create or process content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, hateful, harassing, sexually exploitative, or otherwise harmful. We may decline or stop work on any project that falls into these categories.
12Intellectual Property
Ownership of source material, final deliverables, studio tools, and licensed assets is described in our Intellectual Property Policy, which forms part of these terms.
13Third-Party Tools and Platforms
We use third-party software, storage, delivery, and payment tools to provide our services. We are not responsible for the availability, policies, or performance of those third parties, or of the platforms where you publish your content.
14No Guarantee of Results
Our work improves the structure, clarity, sound, pacing, formatting, and presentation of your content. We do not guarantee any specific business, marketing, audience, or financial outcome, which depends on factors outside our control.
15Disclaimers
Our website and services are provided on an as-is and as-available basis. Additional disclaimers are set out in our Disclaimer, which forms part of these terms.
16Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Editvox Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to a project is limited to the amount you paid for that project.
17Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Editvox Studio harmless from claims arising out of the material you provide to us or your use of the deliverables we produce, including claims related to rights, licenses, or content you supplied.
18Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations and refunds are handled in line with our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.
19Termination
Either party may end a project where the other materially breaches these terms. Fees for work already completed remain payable. We may suspend or end access to our services where these terms are breached.
20Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms and Conditions. Updated terms apply to new projects from the date they are published on this page.
21Governing Law
