Intellectual Property Policy

Last updated: June 16, 2026

This Intellectual Property Policy explains how ownership and rights work for the material involved in our editing services.

01Overview

This policy describes who owns the source material, the final deliverables, and the tools and assets used in a project. It forms part of our Terms and Conditions.

02Your Source Material

You keep ownership of the original files and content you provide to us. Sending us material does not transfer your ownership of it to Editvox Studio.

03Ownership of Final Deliverables

Once your project is fully paid, you own the final edited deliverables we create for you and may use them for your intended purpose. Until full payment is received, deliverables remain the property of Editvox Studio.

04Our Tools, Methods, and Working Files

We retain ownership of our editing methods, techniques, templates, presets, and intermediate working or project files. These are not part of the final deliverables unless specifically agreed.

05Licensed and Stock Assets

Where a project includes third-party assets such as music, footage, images, or fonts, those assets remain subject to their own licenses.

You are responsible for holding the appropriate license for any third-party material you supply, and for meeting ongoing license requirements for assets used in your deliverables where noted.

06Portfolio and Promotional Use

We may display finished work in our portfolio and promotional materials as examples of our services. If you need a project kept confidential, let us know and we will agree not to display it.

07Your Confirmation of Rights

By sending us material, you confirm that you hold the rights, licenses, and permissions needed for that material, and that our editing of it does not infringe the rights of others.

08Copyright Complaints

If you believe content on our website or in our work infringes your rights, contact us using the details below with enough information to identify the material and your claim, and we will review it.

09Our Name and Branding

The Editvox Studio name, logo, and branding belong to Editvox Studio and may not be used without permission.
